What is Smiggle Rainbow Bear Lunch Box Ss?
Smiggle Rainbow Bear Lunch Box Ss is a compartment lunch box for school and office meals. Separate sections keep foods apart, the lid fits securely to limit spills, and the smooth interior wipes clean after every meal.
What colours does it come in?
This one is available in Purple. Colour availability can change with stock, so the shade shown on this page is the one you receive when you order.
Is it BPA free?
Yes, this product is BPA free. That matters most for anything holding food or drink, and it is the reason it is suitable for daily use by children as well as adults.
Do the compartments keep food separated?
Yes. The dividers are moulded into the box so dry snacks stay away from anything moist, which keeps a sandwich from going soggy next to fruit. It works best when you avoid overfilling any single section, as an overfull compartment can push food over the divider when the box is carried.
Is the lid spill proof for gravy or curry?
The lid is secure fit and holds well for normal packed meals like rice, roti, pasta, sandwiches and cut fruit. For thin gravy or very runny curry, pack it in a smaller sealed container inside the bag, since a snap lid is not the same as a fully gasketed leak proof seal.
How should I wash it?
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry it fully before storing, especially around the lid edges where moisture collects. Avoid sharp knives and forks on the interior surface, and skip abrasive scrubbers so the smooth inner finish stays easy to wipe clean.
Is it microwave safe?
Unless the base is specifically marked microwave safe, take the food out onto a plate before heating. Stainless steel boxes must never go in the microwave, and repeated microwaving can warp plastic lids and weaken the fit over time.
Will it fit inside a school backpack?
Yes. The compact shape is designed to slide into a school or office bag alongside books and files without taking over the main compartment.
Is it suitable for office lunches as well as school?
It works for both. Adults use the same box for desk meals and day trips, and the sectioned layout is convenient whether you are packing a full meal or a lighter snack set.
